The funds available for the Minnesota Block Grant were raised by numerous Minnesota
Friends of NRA Banquets for the purpose of promoting firearms safety and the shooting sports in
Minnesota.

NRA eligible programs to receive funding from the block grant:
a. An NRA Shooting Sports Camp (Includes NRA Youth SportsFest)
b. Women On Target ("WOT") shooting clinics
c. Refuse To Be A Victim ("RTBAV") seminars
d. Youth Hunter Education Challenge ("YHEC")
Checklist
1. ____ Download and complete the Minnesota Block Grant Program Application and W-9 Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification.
2. ____ Pre-register the appropriate NRA program by calling the NRA program contact as indicated on the application. For example, contact (703) 267-1591, for the Shooting Sports Camp Program.
3. ____ Submit the completed Minnesota Block Grant Program Application and W-9 Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification as directed on the application. The applicant is responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the information provided. If the information is not completed in its entirety, it will be returned.
4. ____ Review and selection for funding will be handled by the MRRA and MFNRA Block Grant Committee.
5. ____ Notify applicants of their grant status.
6. ____ Approved applicants will receive a letter of approved expenditures along with a check to cover approved expenses.
7. ____ Day of the Event have all participants and volunteers sign the "Release" form.
8. ____ Day of the Event take photos that highlight the event. These are to be submitted with the final report along with the appropriate signed "Release" form.
9. ____ Within two (2) weeks following the completion of the registered event, download, complete, and submit the Grant Final Report form as indicated on the form.
