2008 CMP Perry Rifle Teams

There are spots to fill for the Minnesota State Rifle Team attending Camp Perry in 2008. The dates are as follows:

Monday, July 28th, Presidents Match.
Tuesday, July 29th, National trophy Individual.
Wednesday, July 30th, Hearst Doubles/Whistler Boy Juniors.
Thursday, July 31st. National Trophy Team Match.
Friday, August 1st. National Trophy Infantry Match (Rattle Battle)
While shooters of all skill levels are needed, there are also administrative positions to fill. For the two team matches on Thursday and Friday we'll need two pit pullers per team. Each puller gets paid $120 per day. A scorekeeper is needed as well as a suport/photographer, brass rat (Infantry only) and score verifier. These are all non-firing positions. If this is your first trip to Perry these could be a great way to expose yourself to the circus!

The plan is to field two teams in each event, one in-competition and one out-of-competition. This way we can build for the future by not "burning" new shooters status while still getting valuable experience.

Preliminary lodging plan is to have the whole team stay at one motel. Currently the Peninsula motel is our Perferred Location.
This is approximately ten minutes away.
