Club Matches, Shooting Leagues & practice shoots MSP INDOOR INTERNATIONAL PISTOL LEAGUES Two new indoor NRA-sanctioned international-style pistol leagues have been formed in the Twin Cities this Fall. One league will be for Air Pistols and the other, Free Pistols. The leagues are jointly sponsored by Bill's Gun Shop & Range and Oakdale Gun Club. Competitors who want to earn or update their NRA classifaction in these seldom-staged events can authorize the league to submit their best scores to the NRA. Registration for each league is $20 and includes NRA-approved targets. There will be a range fee of about $10 per session. Elk River Monday night F-Class/Midrange League. April - June The Elk River Sportsman's Club will be conducting a ten week F-Class/Mid Range rifle shooting league in 2008. The league is open to the public and begins on April 14th at 6:00 pm. Participants are encouraged to attend all ten weeks, but complete attendance is not required. F-Class gives rifle shooters an easy entry into competitive shooting or excellent practice for long range hunting. More information/Schedule (84kb pdf) Elk River Tuesday night Highpower practice April 8 - Sept. 23 note: During April through August shooting will begin promptly at 6 PM. Beginning September 4 all Tuesday evening shooting will begin at 5 PM. Every attempt will be made to allow those shooters that cannot arrive at 5 PM to shoot on the second relay, but there cannot be a guarantee that this can always be done.
